Join The Band!Do you play a musical instrument and are looking to join a jazz band? Here's a few details:

What we are

Benjamins is a community big band with 25+ members with ages ranging from teens to 70+.

We play a number of jazz standards that no doubt you would have heard of plus more contemporary charts from artists such as Van Morrison, Michael Bublé, Michael Jackson, James Morrison, plus Earth Wind & Fire and much more.

Benjamin's Big Band rehearses on Wednesday nights during school terms (see calendar) from 6:45pm to 8:15pm at Mimosa Public School on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

The majority of communications is via an internal email list with paid-up members having full access. Various guests and alumni may also receive posts from this list.

2024 Band fees are $290 per semester (1/2 year) and include Garigal Community Performing Arts Society membership. Band tours and festival participation may result in additional costs. All payments are by direct deposit.
